I've been riding clipless for a long time. 15-16 years. A couple weeks ago I rolled up to cross a busy street. The street was shut down. There were some bouncy castles and carnival games and etc. I'm looking around, huh, cool. Totally distracted when I hit stall speed and my bike starts to lean right. Well, I can't unclip fast enough and go down hard. Totally embarrassing because the street is full of people. One middle aged guy walks up to and looks down and says "I am so sorry you fell over."

sometimes you just gotta laugh at yourself.
