How does the compact tyre bead jack work though? Probably not going to work as well as the bigger one but I assume it's still fairly good and does the job all the time?

spit. on the rim. lube it up so its not grippy rubber on metal
ive never used the full sized one but i have the var lever and i use it by gradually working the bead onto the rim at that last spot by pulling it closer to the lip and pushing it on with my fingers like normal
