Typically a head wind, ALWAYS a headwind! I just started riding up Little GMR for the first time this year and find it much harder the GMR even though it is shorter (it is also hotter). I can play it by hear but that will be a lot of elevation. By the way the temps are supposed to be 70's on the ridge and 80's in the canyons.
