Just keep in mind, the old addage "you get what you pay for" or the newer version "you gotta pay to play" still apply.

... @ this price point there will be a short-cut/commpromise somewhere, ( but then again thats what a "hybrid" is, ) it'll either be a 1040 hi-ten frame with *good* components. ....or a nicer 520 reynolds frame, with entry lever components...( same for the dif grades of alu. ) like above, you can get a decent bike around 5... but may not be a Trek or Specalized or Giant. You might have to look at a Fuji, Jamis or Raleigh.

... a *good* bike with *good* parts will be tough to find, if it even exists ... @ this point get the best frame ( thats in your budget ) with *ok* components , and when the *ok* comp break, get *good* ones to repl. them.

After you guys figure this out, can you recommend me a good casual sneaker under 60$
