On July 1st I'm leaving San Francisco taking the Western Express through the desert and over the mountains to hook up with the Trans Am in Pueblo Co.

I'm doing this crazy a quixotic ride as a response to losing my wife of thirty years to breast cancer. I have asked friends, family and strangers to donate a penny a mile to the Koman foundation.
