If it's butted tubing, I would just gusset it and be done. If it's not butted tubing, a sleeve would work fine. Given the damage, I assume the tubing is fairly thin, which would suggest a diamond shaped patch with ~1/4-3/8" of overlap around the edges
Gotcha. Thanks, I'll purchase the alloy today and post again once I finish. It is butted. I'm not rally sure what that is but I know it is because of a manufacture's sticker on the frame.
