Kristen Butcher was invited to a race called the "Hellride", I think. 14,000 feet of climbing on singletrack, a new Santa Cruz bike to the first man and woman,and she found out she was pregnant weeks before the race. The doc said she could ride but she had to keep her heartrate low, so she knew she couldn't win.

She went anyway, and took pictures of herself having morning sickness and put them in the magazine with her story.
