Agreed. Even with more traffic they should not have a problem passing. As traffic density increases the traffic will slow also. Roads like this are great for cycling as you get your own lane and heavy oncoming traffic does not prevent faster vehicles from passing. Stay well into the lane so drivers will see you sooner and can prepare for their merge earlier making it easier for everyone. I recommend a mirror also.
