Yes I know... its old and not to good. But its free because I fixed it up with my stock of broken bikes.
At any rate its a great little bike to ride along the local trails pogoing over the larger obstacles. All in all a blast. Sadly the front shock is well and truely stuck. I poured oil down it from the top. I undid the bolts on the bottom and drowned it in oil down there as well. I cleaned as far as I could so it shines. I rode it over the a rubble field as hard as I could. I bashed on a block of wood placed over the top. It refuses to move. Unless there is another way to get the stupid thing unstuck I think I need to find me another beaten up old rust pile with a working shock and transplant one. Even the cheapest rockshox are likely to cost more than the whole thing is worth.
Any ideas on how to save this shock?
