My 2013 Secteur came with Sora 9-speed. At 6000 miles the right shifter totally locked up. Shimano offered an obsolete 9-speed Tiagra as a replacement. My Roubaix went through three 5600 105 right shifters, each wearing out the ratchet cam after about 15,000 miles. Stuff wears out, but in conjunction with a good LBS, Shimano warranty comes through.
