I work by mail with a firm in So Cal, who I've used for car and guitar parts for a couple of decades. They do fabulous work (including pot metal) but definitely are not cheap. I'm up in the air about having the frame replated, as the plating is still nice though not mint. The rest of the steel on the Girardengo will be replated, but doing the frame will more than double the total resto expense.

Oh, well, in for a penny...
