Thank you all for the welcome, I would have gotten back sooner, but I've been busy working and riding. I recently got a hold of a Schwinn Varsity for next to nothing, and I put some new rubber and bar tape on it. It rides great. I have about 100 miles on it in the past week, and I enjoy it more every time. I like the bike itself, but I really think I'm going to be getting some new wheels for it very soon. My LBS said they'd shoot me a really good deal on some replacement aluminum ones. I know a lot of people say they don't like the friction shifters, but I really enjoy them actually. I know a lot of people would tell me not to dump money into this bike, but I really like the way it rides, and the size is good for me. I don't have a lot of money to spend, and I like to tinker, so I'm ok with just replacing things here and there as I go. I think it'll be cool to notice the weight loss, and the change that better components can make for it. Once again, thank you for the welcome, and I hope you're enjoying your rides as much as I am.
