By all accounts the Lithion.2 are an excellent training tyre although I've never ridden them myself. I picked up some Michelin Pro 3 Race Service Course at 2 for £30, which is a pretty decent price. First impressions are the ride is great: better than GP4000s and Schwalbe Ultremo 23s, but I don't not expect them to be anywhere near as durable as the GP4000s I have on my winter bike, which appear to have plenty of life left at 4k+ miles. The Ultremos on the other hand are done by around 1500 miles.
