unless you constrain the tube (the bar one is bending), buckling is very likely. Tubing benders have dies that match the tube to keep it from buckling or collapsing. Some other methods involve filling the tube with sand and plugging the ends, the sand keeps the tube from collapsing. You are more likely to make things worse if you attempt to bend them without the proper technique or tools.
