Bikes: 1965 Dilecta Le Blanc, 1956 Royal Nord, 1972 Raleigh Sports, 1972 CCM Turismo, 2014 Salsa Vaya, 2019 Giant Lafree and others

A number of Canadian built Raleighs I have aquired have alloy SR stems including the 1983 "sprite" mixte just completed. Did the serial number have an R denoting Canadian manufacture?
