Have to disagree with the idea that Assos sizing is weird. On their website they give good details of what measurements apply to their sizes, and I've always found that to be spot on. They're not cheap, of course, wherever you buy them.

OP, no particular reason to avoid the UK suppliers. Ribble, Wiggle etc. are pretty reliable and usually keenly priced.
