You are exactly correct. Something that is not right bothers me.

The next step is to buy both RH and LH drops from Calfee and bolt them in place. This will allow them to be used as spacers to effectively reduce the rear drop spacing to very close to 130mm which will allow me to use a wide variety of wheels. The chain line will change but I can live with that, I will have to avoid cross chaining big to big.
