Here's an update on the issue. Rob did get in touch with me, or vice versa. He apologized for the missed communication and the wheels will be shipped out today. I thanked him for responding to my inquiries and told him that all I wanted was an update on my order.
I understand that his is a growing company and that he probably wasn't prepared for the demand of his product. This combined with his lack of bandwidth (time and ppl) is contributing to the delay some customers (ie: me) are seeing. If he would have mentioned this I wouldn't have been as panicky in my posts.
I did do a search (little blank box at the top of this forum, see some of us use it) for wheel builders for Clydes and his name came up. All the people who have his wheels are satisfied with them as well as being affordable. I did not see the thread from last year, which is now locked, lambasting him and telling him how to run his company. Personally, I have enough on my plate doing my own job, I don't have any right to tell someone else how to do theirs.
So, to recap: He got in touch with me>I'm satisfied>wheels are on their way>I'm jazzed>Rob is a good guy (just a little busy). I'll take a pic of them on my bike b4 I go out and beat the hell out of them
