So I decided to run a non-scientific test this weekend. On Saturday I rode my Giant TCR Advanced frame with full Red group. Paid special attention to front shifting. Quick, quiet, no failures or hesitations. Almost no sound. Okay, so far so good. Today I rode my Everti Falcon Ti frame with a essentially the same Red group except for an FSA SLK Light crank. No difference that I could tell. Same 53/39. Same KMC SLX 10 chains on both. If there is a difference, I sure am glad that I can't find it. Saved me a few hundred bucks and the weight is the same. No brainer as far as I am concerned.
