My social circle consists of a mix of small and medium size business owners as well as senior management at larger firms. I own my own consulting firm. NONE of us have the time to receive the training or provide the service for 1st response... Most barely have the time to spend with their family one day a week. So sorry, your two claims don't seem plausible, particularly with your new claim that you are only 'senior management' down from owner/operator...
I do own an international tech business and running it is a senior management function (I thought that was obvious to the most casual observer, but apparently not). I'm apparently different from your acquaintances in my ability to manage professional career, personal interests and family life. Imagine that.

If you don't care, why are we arguing? ...... The only one that provides the additional information you think is so important.
So you agree that many of the folks who could actually benefit from 1st responders knowing about their allergies .... garish sports gimmick is more likely to be used? Interesting
Well I find your claim that a phone is likely to 'disappear' during a crash equally fallacious. ...since the wallet will provide a degree of protection, even from fire...
Phew. Feel better now? Suggestion: be less fascinated with what others think and what they do and worry more about your own stuff. You'll be happier. Don't want to use a RoadID, then don't. You'll feel better even if your advice is a little weird (letting the billing department sort it out).

Yes, those plastic bands are inappropriate in a professional environment. Professionals will typical use the 'jewelry' versions; pins, broaches, tie-tacks, etc.. Hence why medialerts are all I have seen in a professional environment. The only ROAD ID product that would work in such an environment. is the dog tag version...
Well so you say. I guess pretty much your experience is far different from mine and/or you maybe deal with less empathetic people or something. Anyhow, in my industry in most of the meetings I'm in, there are a lot of such bands and it seems to work well in everything from business casual to suit and tie. And most of us also wear jewelry too.

But, again, if you don't want to wear one, then don't. Is this a great country or what?

Sorry if you misinterpreted. It simply seems to me that your arguments are emotionally based, and with your mention of your sons accident that makes more sense.
Right. Good effort on the use of the evasion that passive aggressive behavior permits.
