Nobody is pulling up the leg part of the shorts. They are pulling down the front part instead.
I was skeptical of the leg-pulling part - my louis garneau shorts have a relatively tight rubber elastic at the leg holes, and come down to just above my knees. as somebody pointed out earlier, if you can pee out the leg hole you have a promising career future in adult movies.
