I would venture to guess that the helmet wouldn't be the 1st place a first responder would look, especially if the helmet is smashed. I would also guess that if there was the possibility of a neck or head injury that the helmet would not be removed by the EMT's.

Whether it's a laminated card, dog tag, bracelet, wallet or tattoo... it's always good to carry something, even if it's redundant.

Some of you out there really need to calm down; it's a harmless Forum discussion! As someone else said... if you don't want to use a RoadID or carry something, then don't. It's a free country, and you're welcome to do whatever you want.
