Keep in mind that both of these options are also heavier of the two, which will play into your climbing speed/cadence potential. I would be quite careful with these choices.

Have you considered running different crank lengths for different stages to optimize each particular gearing choice? It will also have an effect on your position, but it could be made to work for you depending on your proposed racing tactics each day.
