best answer? 'what kind of dog/cat do you think it is?'. he'd then agree with their response. some folks are clueless, others dreamers (yellow chihuahua heinz 57 claimed as a purebred greyhound. oh, yes, been there, seen that). whatever kinda critter it is isn't as important as knowing it is loved.
My wife, another vet, likes the
purebred golden doodles, peek-a-poos, and other "designer breeds".
