I tried a Citibike for commuting yesterday. It was OK, except that it was 110% humidity and I was drenched by the time I dropped off the bike. I started on the subway, took the train to the closest kiosk, and then rode the rest of the way, about 6-7 miles. The best thing about this is that I don't necessarily have to ride back, and while I started back on bike yesterday, I gave up less than halfway to my starting point in the morning. It was just too humid. I dropped the bike at the nearest kiosk, found an air-conditioned bar, and had a cold one.
