Not a Specialized rider but ride frequently with a guy on a Tarmac (a more recent S-Works version) and from what I see I think that bike will do well for you. The geometry is not super aggressive. As far as price goes: No matter how good a deal you get, somebody got a better deal and will post it for you to see. Having said that the asking price does seem high for a 7 year old bike. Get the bike checked out and negotiate. When that's over make your decision and, if you buy it, ride it without 2nd guessing. The money is spent.
