If those are the same Tektro's that I have, you can not slide out the brake pad...you have to replace the whole shoe, it's stupid. I ended up buying these and throwing them on the Tektro calipers...and from there I think you can throw on Kool Stop pads...but just stick with the ones that come with Shimano until they wear out because they work great.

I hate you Tektro.
