The dogbones capture friction dampening discs which can be adjusted by tightening the locknuts .. the main suspension spring lives in the head tube ... there are a few different spring rates available .. the rear suspension is a rubber cone which has very little travel.. the ride is quite smooth and easily more comfortable for long sessions than my 700c bikes without giving up much in the way of speed..
