Shimano SB C102 shifter/brake part

I have a Trek 700 on my hands that has a Shimano SB C102 brake.shifter combo which is a grip shifter with a weird dial indicator for the gear position. The cable connecting the shifter to the dial is approx. 9" long and has 2 ball ends. Any chance of getting a replacement?
