But my driving tends to be more legal that average, just like my cycling. When driving I stop at 4-way stops in my car even if no one else is around, I stop at the stop sign at the end of my street that I've seen no other neighbor stop at (just roll). I also don't speed. Just cause everyone else is breaking the law doesn't mean it is OK for me to.

Why? Not so I feel better than others, but because it may, just one day, help me prevent rolling out in front of another car or cyclist or ped, or allow me to better avoid an accident if not speeding. I also find if I don't follow all the rules, I'll bend 'em and then get sloppy.
