Now, this is a free country, and you are talking to somebody that been around long enough to see some REAL cold hearted chit..
If you chose to not wear a helmet, then pay for your own chit. That is the way a lot of people feel. Why you think they have a law on seat belts? Because people were getting f--ked up not wearing their seatbelts and the taxpayers were footing the bill. The lawmakers said no more of that chit, and made it a law (in my state), that you MUST have your seat belt on your will get a big ticket/fine/points!
BTW, I know you saw my two phrases.. You made me add another one of my sayings,
"Who is more foolish, the fool, or the fool that follows the fool"..
Sorry that seatbelt law argument is going to be a hard pill to swallow for me considering the state I live in recently passed a seatbelt requirement law, yet has NO helmet law for motorcyclists. Please explain to me why I should believe the seatbelt law was created to protect taxpayer money, rather than as a reason to ticket drivers, therefore increasing the states revenue.
Someone that's been around long as you should already know there have been laws created that aren't only unjust, but also serve special interests more than the general public.
