NB you can even find 144 bcd current track, but old road size types. in 3/32"
But the teeth are thicker than what the rather thin 10~11 speed chains require
but 8 speed will be Fine..
Looks like a donor bike would be my best bet after looking around, does it matter what gearing it has on the donor bike ? If I want to keep the downtube shifters. Also the frame has had a front and rear derailleur on before (it had some crappy shimano stuff on it)
