Because it is human nature, and even moreso, the nature of The 41. I gain tremendous satisfaction by passing Cervelos on the mountain, but just the other day some dude in commuter knickers (I have a some of these too) on a 29er with knobbies blew by me and I could not catch him. Humbled me the other direction. Gotta take the good with the bad.
