Running from the cops is a generally bad choice. On occasion though, I experience hearing loss which prevents me from understanding direct commands ("You ran a red light! STOP! #$@!*!"). So I just continue riding at a quick speed, turn left across traffic, turn into a oneway street, repeat.
It may be stupid, but, like I said -- my hearing is pretty bad.

I'll repeat this one -- over the winter a cop intentionally rammed me with his motorcycle while I was riding down fifth ave. He was not playing around.
