Completed my first tube patch! My hands are filthy, but I managed to keep my work clothes clean. I will definitely be including some latex gloves in my repair kit. The patch seemed to stick okay, although I was a bit surprised to see that they're really nothing more than stickers. We'll see if it holds up to 80psi.

I checked the tire, but nothing out of the ordinary. A couple of small bits of gravel stuck in the tread, but nothing coming through on the inside. The hole in the tube was so small that I needed to put it underwater (in the toilet, but don't tell anyone!) just to see where the air was coming out.

I do remember pulling a piece of a nail out of the sidewall a few weeks ago when I washed the bike. It must have just grazed the tube, and over the last few weeks, the hole expanded enough to go from a slow leak to a noticeable leak.
