New bike, new wheel one spoke nipple very hard to turn

I have been going over a new bicycle to make sure everything is mechanically sound before riding it. I have run into one problem- the rear wheel, a WTB SX24 26" disc mountain bike wheel has one spoke nipple on the cassette side that is much harder to turn than the rest. I've already evened up the tension and trued the front wheel with a Park tension meter and was doing the same with the rear until this nipple. I backed off it's tension and lubed it with Boeshield T•9 but when I get back near to the tension of the other drive side spokes it becomes extremely hard to turn. I'll remove the cassette and take the spoke and nipple to my LBS if necessary but I'd rather not resort to that. The spokes and rim are black anodized if that matters.
