I know cycling like i do is silly, what im saying is i just cant help but push myself this hard, i know i am capable of cycling 30 miles regularly without too much effort, but this being such a short distance i push too hard, and as it is the majority of my cycling i feel its best to make use of it, try and build a little stamina and endurance that a casual cycle wouldn't do.
im not trying to look clever by cycling fast, please don't think that or find humility in what im asking help for, im trying to make cycling a big part of my life, i wish to one day be in the position to do tours and charity events.
thinking about it possibly my best course of action would be to change the rout i cycle, so maybe i have say 6 miles, see how i go, then maybe 10 and so on.
