I know cycling like i do is silly, what im saying is i just cant help but push myself this hard, i know i am capable of cycling 30 miles regularly without too much effort, but this being such a short distance i push too hard, and as it is the majority of my cycling i feel its best to make use of it, try and build a little stamina and endurance that a casual cycle wouldn't do.
