I rode the coastal route from Oslo to Bergen in Sept. I ran of of summer at the end of the month but up till then it was pretty good. Conditions are pretty similar to Scotland so hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
You can camp wild but in some more developed places, finding a location is tricky. People are very helpful pointing out useful campsites.
Norway can be expensive unless you like smoked mackeral.
