Once on a randonee, I came upon a group and thought I'd sit in and rest a bit. But the group was behaving very oddly, so I went up for a look. Turned out one of the leaders was all turned out with the coolest wool gear including knickers, and riding a fixie with platforms. I got out of there. A buddy who was behind me said he walked the next hill. The Octopus he wasn't.
