Checked out a Specialized Myka FSR Comp for $1650. Not that impressed. Looked a size small Giant Trance X3, nice bike, wife wasn't feeling it.

Against BF's very wise advice , I just pulled the trigger on a closeout 2012 Julianna (Superlight) small frame in powder blue. I looked at components last night and started a spreadsheet, and I can build it for under $1,800 with some pretty good stuff. I like the tapered headtube.

I'll open a thread for the actual build but continue to pester everyone right here for opinions on the components. First question..

Should I:

A) just build it - all bikes have black and grey components, it can't be avoided so why fight it.

B) try to source as many white and silver components as possible? (sticking to the set budget)

C) pick some other complimentary color?
