A couple of randonneuring friends that live IN Wilmington, were trying to figure out a reasonable RUSA Permanent course that started and ended IN Wilmington, but given where they live, the main roads, the FEW bridges, etc., they may have given up on developing a 200k route that would be safe leaving and returning. (Well, I decided to check the RUSA db & it appears that they came up with a 211k route that starts & ends in Wilmington; but I don't know where "in" Wilmington the route starts -- join RUSA and find out .)

There is also a RUSA 200k Permanent route that starts & ends in Southport.
