I have never felt the need for more braking power in dry or wet conditions using that bike, so I am a big fan of this kind of setup. I hope more road bikes adopt it.

Anyway, I was checking out a picture essay of Giant's Propel that is ridden by Bauke Mollema and sure enough, same braking setup. http://velonews.competitor.com/2013/...ced-sl0_295192

Kind of neat to see this setup in the TdF. Any other road bikes using this kind of braking setup? Anybody know if v-brakes have been used in the pro peloton before?
The brakes on my Propel are working just fine and the bike itself is awesome.
