Some touring setups use MTB cranks, now.. for their lower gear options .

they are different enough from the Usual 110-74 BCD triple.

You just replace The whole set. and the FD too , to a MTB one ,

By using the Bar End Shifter, the left one being friction, road FD and mountain FD will both work..
