One thing I learned the hard way was leaving my bike lock in the rain (wasn't raining when I locked it). It's a carbon bike, so it wasn't as bad, but I kept riding it and then finally, weeks later, I removed the seatpost to find it was still wet and mold was growing inside the seatpost/ seat tube.
So you might want to take out the seatpost to let everything dry.
