Overgeneralize much? I have to wear a suit to work...

A)Wool suits are HOT (sorry southerners, but seersucker is not business attire); it's 90 degrees in DC right now at 11am.
B)I get sweaty as hell during my 7 mile (if I take the short way) commute and would probably get a talking-to and be the office outcast if I showed up drenched in sweat in my suit every day C) Suits are expensive and riding in them increases wear-and-tear dramatically, nevermind that my dry cleaning bills would skyrocket.

So....I wear cycling clothes to work because I'm going to have to change clothes anyway. So why not wear something that is designed for comfort on a bike and will dry quickly during the work day? I know, I know, such talk would anger Grant Peterson and the Retrorouch Gods, but the whole "commute in your work clothes" mantra simply doesn't work for a lot of us.
