One thing pointed out to me after riding the Scott was that this bike comes with a mid-range 23mm tire. I normally ride Conti 4000's in the 25mm on William's 30's. If I bought this bike, I would likely move the wheelset over from my existing ride. That may also make some difference in handling and ride quality.
