If you don't know of a framebuilder in the area there's a guy in Baltimore named Bruni who did a repair job for me a few years ago. Really nice guy and fair pricing as well.

there is the option of having her pay for the frame repairs.. the touch ups to the paint chips she hid and the trueing/repairing of the frame.
which might get you some of your 800 dollars back you know?
