I have had very good luck with Wippermann chains and the Connex link in particular. I've got 2000+ miles on my current Wippermann chain, and when I last cleaned and relubed it there was no measurable wear. The Connex link is easier to connect and disconnect than the KMC missing links, but be sure that you install it properly.

The Wippermann Connex link should work on any chain as long as it's the proper width for the chain. It makes cleaning and relubing very simple, which means you're more likely to actually do it.

Any standard chain tool should work fine for pushing out the link pin.
