Bikes: CerveloR3, Andy Gilmour lugged steel, custom Trek tourer, Cannondale Tandem

Would like to know how your upgrade goes.
I have a Cannondale with a 8-spd that I am thinking of setting up with a 2 ring/10 spd configuration.
I'm in St. George, ever get down this way with your tandem?
